The Shull Center for Surgical Robotics is home of the Kansas City area's first da Vinci Surgical System. Our surgical services include inpatient and outpatient services and features dedicated surgical suites.

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, located in Merriam, Kansas, is a 504-bed acute care hospital serving the Kansas City metro area, particularly Johnson County. Formerly Shawnee Mission Medical Center, it joined the AdventHealth network in 2019, guided by a mission to provide faith-based, whole-person care that nurtures physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Established in 1962, the hospital has deep roots in the community, originating from a collaboration between local leaders, the Johnson County Medical Society, and the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church to meet the area’s growing healthcare needs.
