AdventHealth Medical Group in Kansas City is offering an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiothoracic surgeon to join our established team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500+ bed facility. AdventHealth in Kansas City is a leading, faith-based, not-for-profit health system with four hospitals in the greater Kansas City area.

The new CT surgeon will be able to perform a variety of cases including coronary bypass, valvular repair/replacement, catheter-based structural heart procedures and general thoracic cases working alongside a multidisciplinary and growing team of seven general cardiologists, five interventionalists, and two electrophysiologists. The team has a large compliment of cardiovascular APPs, including a CTS PA model facilitating cardiovascular care. ICU care is also enhanced by our dedicated critical care intensivists team.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Program Director provides operational leadership for the Women’s Outpatient Program, including pelvic floor therapy, primary care, menopause care, women’s focused specialty and obesity management. This role is responsible for building, launching, and managing a high-performing outpatient program that expands access, improves patient experience, and drives growth. The Program Director partners closely with the Women’s Medical Director. The Medical Director defines clinical strategy, standards, and care models.
